Charley Mathney Park

Charley Mathney Park borders Lake Camille (off of Joel Blvd.) and provides community members with the use of its pavilions, green space and barbeque facilities. Community members can fish and kayak in Lake Camille but the use of gas motor boats and swimming are prohibited. The land and funds for this park were donated in 1999. The park was completed in 2002.

Getting There: The park is located along Lake Camille and Joel Blvd

In 2007, a desolate 3.5 – acre parcel and one of last remaining pieces of Lehigh’s original wetlands  was transformed into a pristine ecological park. Open daily from dawn til dusk, visitors can experience JFEP’s two pavilions, barbeque facilities and stroll along the 500-foot boardwalk.  The park has an 8-space parking lot, benches and bike racks.

Getting There: The park is located on the corner of Lee Blvd. and Xelda Ave.

Barbara Farrell Park

Barbara Farrell Park borders the Lehigh Acres Community Park North and provides community members with the use of its pavilions, green space and barbeque facilities. The land and funds for this park were donated in 1999. The park was completed in 2002. The pavilions were built by Lee County and dedicated to LAMSID.

Getting There: The park is located at Williams Ave. and 5th Street.
